What is sad for women of my generation is that they weren't supposed to work if they had families. What were they going to do when the children are grown - watch the raindrops coming down the windowpane?

Having a family, a child, a home – is work – a full-time job.

When Luis and I start a family, we plan to incorporate my art – my sculpture – my writing – my painting with our child. I cannot imagine just being “a mom” – that would not be fair to our child, to my husband...or to myself.

I was born an artist. I need to create, to think, to dream – art is my soul’s work and what shall make me better parent one day...
