amazing grace

I woke up to meet the sunrise...and without realizing, began humming the tune of this song:

1. "Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
   That saved a wretch like me!
   I once was lost, but now am found;
   Was blind, but now I see.
2. ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
   And grace my fears relieved;
   How precious did that grace appear
   The hour I first believed.
3. Through many dangers, toils and snares,

   And grace will lead me home.

   His Word my hope secures;
   He will my Shield and Portion be,
